Aquarian Teacher: KRI Level 1 Teacher Training, Camrose, AB

May 25 to Jun 1, Aug 26 to Sep 1, and Oct 27 to Nov 1, 2019.

Participate to receive a 220-hour certification in Kundalini Yoga, as originally taught by Yogi Bhajan. Learn meditation skills and Kundalini Yoga exercises to take you to the next level of awareness, clarity and high performance in your life. This course provides the foundation to be able to teach specialized courses.

The Aquarian Teacher™ KRI Level One Teacher Training Program is for everyone, whether you would like to become a certified teacher or just wish to deepen your personal experience of Kundalini Yoga.

Course Content & Benefits

This program is based on the comprehensive science of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. The Aquarian Teacher program is a journey of your development as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher. There are three levels of certification:
KRI Level One: Foundations and Awakening – Instructor
KRI Level Two: Transformation – Practitioner
KRI Level Three: Realization – Teacher.

In this Level One training program,

  • You will receive a thorough grounding on all the basics of Kundalini Yoga.
  • This course is a blend of lecture, reading, and exercise to give you a powerful, deep experience.
  • Personal guidance and feedback in key teaching skills will be given.
  • You will be introduced to a network of people committed to self-improvement, healing and professional development.
  • Receive professional certification that meets the requirements for the 200-hours Yoga Alliance membership, and internationally recognized certification with 3HO and IKYTA.
  • Train with experienced, professional and knowledgeable yoga instructors.
  • Excellent teaching materials are included in the cost of the course.

This comprehensive 220 hour training includes in depth study of:

Instructors

Sat Dharam Kaur N.D. is a certified Kundalini Yoga Lead teacher trainer and instructor, author, and naturopathic doctor practicing in Owen Sound, Ontario. She has studied Kundalini Yoga with Yogi Bhajan since 1976 and has facilitated teacher training programs in Toronto (ON), Canmore (AB), and New Mexico. Yogi Bhajan called Sat Dharam a “Teacher of teachers and Healer of healers.”

She has developed an addiction recovery program using Kundalini Yoga as well as a breast health yoga training, designed to help educate women in breast cancer prevention through Kundalini Yoga and lifestyle change. A featured teacher at the Toronto Yoga Show for many years, as well as the Vancouver Yoga Show and at Khalsa Women’s Camp in New Mexico, she has written several best selling books: A Call to Women: The Healthy Breast Program and Workbook, The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Breast Cancer, and The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Women’s Health.

Siri Hari Kaur is a certified Kundalini Yoga Professional Trainer who has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 2002, and introduced Kundalini Yoga to Okotoks in 2008, where there is now a thriving community of teachers and students. 
She is an Internationally Certified Level 1 & 2 Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Certified Radiant Child Yoga Teacher. Siri Hari loves the opportunity to help students find a deeper connection to their bodies and minds through this practice, creating a safe space where people can develop a deeper awareness of their bodies, and learn how to quiet their minds.

Beyond Addiction - The Yogic Path to Recovery

This course is designed for individuals seeking to develop healthy habits and overcome addictive behaviour, for health professionals and yoga teachers who work with addiction, and for certified Kundalini Yoga teachers who would like to teach a yoga-based addiction recovery program.

The program integrates the teaching of Yogi Bhajan, Dr. Gabor Maté and experts in the addiction field.  The course includes online webinars, videos with Dr. Gabor Maté, a manual, a 16 week home practice program and group support. Beyond Addiction is created by Sat Dharam Kaur ND.

Adults of all ages and fitness levels are welcome and previous experience of Kundalini Yoga is not required.

An avid life-long learner in numerous healing and movement practices, she facilitates local and international teacher training programs as well as leading yoga retreats worldwide. Sat Kaur lives in Nelson, British Columbia and is passionately committed to support students in achieving their infinite potential through the gifts of these sacred teachings.
